  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Have any of you had any experience with DeLaRonde forge and their axes? I'm looking at their polled axes right now and they look pretty good.

That's why i was interested. They all look fairly high quality, using 'hawks/axes and they won't break the bank, which is why I'm interested. I'd love to buy one but I can't find any reviews.

Joe has been in business for quite a few years, and was trained by an old school German smith. He's written a book or two, contributed to the Book of Buckskinning series and does a just downright fantastic job on EVERYTHING he makes. The only downside is sometimes you have to wait a bit to get what you want. He was giving priority to Military, although with the war/ deployments winding down he may have caught up to a reasonable time lag.
