So I was doing so HT on some 1084 and had just finished my first round of tempering for 2 hours at 400*. As I was cooling the blades off, I was called upon to help with an emergency that would take the rest of the night, so I turned off the oven and left the blades sitting in the shop.

Well, it is the next day and I have some still too hard blades sitting here and I was wondering if I could just send them through the second cycle today. I don't see what could go wrong, but that's why I am asking you pro's for your opinion.

Not sure if I qualify as a pro, but yes, you'll be fine.

While you do need to temper immediately after quenching there are times when one does what some folks call a 'snap temper' for as little as one hour and then do the full tempering cycles the next day.
