I had been waiting to do this for a while and i ended up making the plunge and decided to replace my stock sheath. Many thanks go to Julio at his shop The 710 custom sheaths..he just sent me these pics of the finished product that is going out in the mail on monday. He only took a day or two to make the sheath and i have to say this guy is quick and fast and very talented and if you get a chance you should do buisness with The 710.

(Update) I have been working alot lately and only had two days to admire and enjoy this new sheath...as soon as i opened up the package i slipped my 9 in it and voila!!! It was as if my blade had found its long lost mother..the fit of the blade was A+ i did a heavy duty shake test to check if the retention would hold up...it did and it did a great job of not falling out when i took it upside down and violently shook it as well.
Julio is gtg in my book and he has found a dedicated life long customer.

Nice looking dangler there man!
Can we take a vote on the best new service provider? I think I know who'll win. :D

It was a hard choice to make..then finally the 710 showed up on a thread with the sheath that Moose had The 710 make and i was completely sold. No offence to the other hard working and talented sheath makers as i admire their work as well but this setup screamed at me to get.

I like the kydex and leather look. Do we have some talent on here or what?

He does amazing work. By monday, most all my beckers will ride in the 710s sheaths. I can't wait for the order to arrive.

Great lookin stuff there. I really like the kydex/leather combo. 710, you make some great looking products there!

I might need some new pants for my izula2 soon....and my bk9....and a couple others:D

looks great, I ordered one for my 14 from 710, got to pick it up from the fedex place tomorrow, from the pics he sent me it looks fantastic. Will post pics tomorrow. Also a big shout to his great customer service and quick work. Will definitely be getting one for my 9 in the near future from him as well.

Hey Y'all,

Last May when the Special Edition BK4 was just being released, I started looking for a sheath that would be a little different than everything else. I found The 710 on *that* auction site and there it was. While writing back and forth I realized he didn't know about BF or the Becker sub-forums, so I suggested he check it out, and now here he is. Cool man, so glad it's working out for you The 710!

I did make a short review thread with an "unboxing" video attached back in May, which you can check out here if you're interested.

And here's a couple or three pics of the awesome piece:

I use MOLLE-Loks to mount the rig to my backpack, which serves dual-duty as my camping pack and my Get-Home-Bag that I keep in my Jeep.

And here's the rig mounted on the pack. I mount it upside down so I can reach the handle and draw the knife while wearing the pack. The retention on The 710's Kydex molding is superb, and I have no fear that the knife would fall out under any conditions.

Great guy to work with and an excellent maker of fine sheaths. Glad I ran across him on another site, and that y'all have welcomed and supported him since bringing him here. Congrats The 710! You deserve all the recognition that comes your way.
