Where did you see the ZT 0350OR listed as a run of 882 pieces?

ZT definitely has limited editions, dealer exclusives, limited runs and those that say limited edition but the quantity produced is quite high.

Personally, the true limited editions are like: 0777, 0777-M390, 0777-M390BLK, 0777-M390BW, 0888, 0888MAX, 0888M390, 0600, 0600BLK, 0560CBCF, 0801CF, 0801BRWCF, 0454, 0392.

These are fairly low quantity limited editions with ever more premium materials, etc. ZT 0560CBCF is perhaps the exception with around 1,500 produced.

Does each variation of a model have a separate sequence of serial numbers? For some reason, I was thinking that the serial number range would include all variations of a model, so for instance all 0350 versions would fall within that range, most likely with LEs of a given style being sequential. I have no basis for this other than my assumption.

Each unique model number has its own serial number sequence. Also, KAI will reject items failing stringent QC. For Kershaw they get the XXXXX stamped on the blade and sold at a big discount with no warranty. For ZT limited editions they're not sold if they don't pass QC. Therefore, the highest serial number out there is not an indication of the actual number released to the public.

To put it simply, to my understanding, they number sequentially, but to not remove numbers from the count that don't pass QC. ie. an 800 pcs. run that has 300 seconds would have serial numbers up to 1100.

I wouldnt read to much into the serial numbers. And if its 1 of 1000 or 1 of 1200 whats it matter.
Its only rare when you want one and cant get it.

this......

I would also like to now where you saw it listed as 882

I just saw the 882 number at KnifeCenter for the 0350OR: "Individually Numbered - Limited Run of 882 Pieces".

Just now, I went and looked at my 0350OR from over a year ago and the serial# is 1163!

Zero Tolerance no longer gives out the final count of how many are released even after a run is finished.
