Deleting messages from Inbox

Not sure if this is the right place to post this. I have forgotten how to delete old messages from the inbox. Can someone tell me how to do this? Thanks and it Vance for any help.

Look for a little box, tick it, this should open up the drop down options for what you'd like to do.
Select 'leave conversation'.
