I took my Delica 4 apart for the first time to clean under the scales as i spotted some light rust, so heres the deal when the tension is added to allow the blade to seat all the way the tension bar WILL NOT stay in place it immediately pops out no matter what i do. So an hour later and alot more stressed here i am looking for help. I even held down the tension bar and put on the steel liner and the tension bar wont allow the liner to seat properly, its applying the pressure to the spacer and moving the spacer and popping out. Help before i have no hair lol and since im posting i might as well take this opportunity to say this knife rocks, its by far my favorite pocket knife and its so easy to sharpen to a razor blade a caveman could do it lol

Mr. 74:

It is virtually impossible to reassemble a Delica 4 without doing a trick or two. But if you do the tricks, it will go back together just fine. Start with this link. There are also some youtube videos that help. If you keep having trubba, check back in here and I will dig for the youtube video. It saved my bacon before, and really makes it a lot easier.

Yo, watch this. Here is the trick to getting the back spring in place without cussing. It shows an Endura, but the principle is the same.

Reassembling incorrectly can wear the lower tabs off of the spacer that holds the tension on the spring and it'll never be right.
The video above shows the correct way (if there's a correct way to void a warranty? ;) ) to install the lock bar.
There are kits available to repair the Endura. Not sure about the Delica though.

Big thanks power noodle that video showed me everything i needed to know , i just got everything back together everything is perfect. I assumed assembly would be the reverse of dissemble but this is not the case. With out that video i would have been pretty frustrated lol
