Seller says it's new, but looks odd? This spine should not have this right? I have a feeling seller is not telling me the truth. Looks like someone try to grind odd/ a damage tip....if anyone can check your delica 4, appreciated

The knife looks fine, but towards the tip, there is a grind, don't feel smooth to be factory?

Looks like a tip was damaged so they ground the spine to make it pointy again. I have done that myself on used knives.

Not the factory grind either, way to smooth. Looks like he sharpened it and rounded the edge, so he had to angle the spine a touch to get the tip back.

If the seller is insisting that's new, I wouldn't deal with him in the future. I've done a similar fix on a broken tip. But as for the rest of the blade, it looks good.

Unless you are a knifemaker working at the golden facility, or QC tech you aren't qualified to make judgements like this as if they are facts. You certainly are entitled to as many opinions as you desire but stating them as facts does no one any good. An experienced buyer/user can see the knife and make up their own mind but there's a chance an inexperienced person will accept what you say at face value as if you really know what you are talking about. That could take money out of someones pocket and potentially food off their table.

If you don't see the potential danger in what you are doing to a dealer/seller who may be totally innocent than you are a hazard to not only dealers but also buyers.

It is hard to see the surface finish in the photos.

My non-FFG Delica4 has a brushed finish on the spine from the jimping to the tip. The same brushed finish on the surface of the blade continues up and over.

I view the review of this exact same knife by Nutnfancy...there was a 15 second clip the he showed the tip from the spine angle...it's one grind...meaning no angle what so ever.

So this knife has be reworked...I have confronted the seller & he already issued me a refund...and he said no need to send it back...just keep it he said.

Yeah...I use a sharpening stone on the spine....create like a curved drop point LoL...knife looks okay now without any obvious angle grind.
