I'm a fairly intelligent guy, pretty mechanically inclined. The dis-assembly went fine, got it cleaned, re-lubed, but then came putting it back together... I had no problems with my Endura. With the Delica however the back spacer and back lock spring gave me some problems. If you're a Delica owner you know what I'm talking about right? If you don't tell me I'm crazy, and ill post some pics.. CX I found away around this that allot of you might know about already, is so sorry.
But the way around it i found was to put all the pieces in place EXCEPT for the lock bar, and the lock bars pin and screw. Now screw it all together, then with the blade out (use discretion, don't do it if you think you're gonna cut your self) you put the lock bar into the back and push down lining up the holes of the lock bar and the frame.. Hold that with one hand put the pin in (you might have to jimmy it a little) put the screw in and you should be done. Please share any Delica maintenance stories.. :p Thanks for reading..

When Kevin Wilkins made custom scales for the Delica, he said it was difficult to reassemble.

I think there's a YouTube video out there somewhere with some tips.

^^^Yep, the vids are there and helpful. There's a trick to it but once you get the hang of it it's not too bad.
