Delica 4 selling on the bay for $3K

Its not actually selling for that much, nor will it EVER sell for that much. The owner is just hoping some idiot with alot of money will be dumb enough to hit the buy it now button:rolleyes:
 
He probably has another one(or maybe the same one) for sale for $300 and he's hoping that people will jump on the $300 one. :p

While it has some slight significance as being part of the project that was the catalyst for the white Sprint Run Delicas, Enduras, Dragonflies, and Ladybugs, I severely doubt any Spyderco collector would pay more than a 10th of that for it. OTOH, art collectors are a whole 'nother ball game. Given some of the things folks label as art and other folks pay good money to buy, I would not rule it out.

I suppose that makes it a bit of a collectable for a different crowd.

Come to think of it, I doubt anything's going to the moon and back any time soon.
 
That Totin' Chip card it comes with is hilarious.

Wonder if the 100 actually sold for $500 a pop, as listed on Tom Sachs website.
