Read some promising reviews online and looking to pull the trigger, anything I should know, thanks... It ships with the VG-10 Blade Steel.

As far as the stainless handles go there are three down sides:
1) You can't adjust the pivot
2) You can't disassemble for cleaning, not that you really have to but some people like to.
3) The handles will show scratches.
4) A bit heavy. Again personal preference.

I have a plain edge version of the SS Delica in VG-10. It's a great knife. I'd like to mention some advantages of the SS handles. They clip very strongly but don't abrade pocket material as much as most other handle materials. Also, sometimes it's nice for a knife to have a little extra heft. Lastly, they are solid but very flat in the pocket; flatter than the FRN versions.

Hope you enjoy your knife!

Stainless Spyderco are high on the classic cool scale. VG10 meets and exceeds my needs and my little lady who abuses her FRN version. She loves the combo edge. Only draw back is stainless is heavy...but cool :)

One of the big factors in having a strong interest in the SS is the heft. In my job, I have to wear a uniform and the pants are not exactly made out of heavy denim/cotton. I am afraid of the FRN being so light I'd lose it. I think the Clip on my older Endura is more conducive to thicker material versus e.g. cotton/poly?

always liked the stainless enduras and police. i like the weight. have a few of both not the delica stainless. my examples are tight. no blade play and havent developed any from lots of normal knife task uses.

partial serrated i dont care for. prefer plain edge or full serrated. the partial loses the advantages of both.
