Hi Steve,
I was wondering if the Ti handle conversion is around the same thickness as the SS version? Also, the knife can still be taken apart now , correct?
I'm not sure of the stainless models thickness. The one I did for a customer might have been a little thicker than that one was. I really don't remember since it was a lot of knives ago but I believe it was .125 on that one I did as I recall. It may have been .105 which I'd highly recommend over the .125 just for thinness concerns and weight loss. I use .105 more than the other thicknesses and like it a lot. It also costs less so thats another benefit and probably the sole reason I use it more and get more call for it.
Oh and it will still break down with an all screw construction and in fact it will be more stable and easier to do that after I get done with it in that regard because I'll rid the knife of everything except the lockbar, spring and blade. No more FRN spacer in the rear because I remake that also.
