I have two Delica 4's, one is pretty with translucent green G11 scales and the other is factory. I had not used it very hard untill now.
I'm installing a motion detector for a senior citizen. In the attic of the old house I used the Delica to strip insulation off romex wire, finish off the hole for a J-box, etc. I was not easy on the Delica, but it cut like a razor, great tool. It was pretty dull when I was done, but I am well pleased with it. It is as tough as it looks. A little reprofile on the Edge Pro and the Delica is as good as new. Well done Delica 4. (VG10)

"translucent green G11 scales" I assume you mean G-10 scales but where did you get green translucent scales from?

And G-11 on the D4 is sooo sweeeeeeeet!! I am the proud owner of a G-11'd D4!! (Thanks to my dear friend Gull Wing)

Lovely knife Gull Wing, how much would it cost a person to get a set or two or those scales? I'm looking to get some for my Delica and maybe a second set for another D4.

I'm surprised at the difference between the D3 and D4 myself. I have a ZDP-189 D4 and it feels much sturdier than my D3. It also fits my hand much better.

I think the changes made were well thought out and have definitely improved the design.
