OK: I own many regular D4s and love them all, but after a few months of daily carry I prefer my D4 Warncliff. I'm ready for a Warncliff "Waved" or/and in a different FRN color.

Anyone else feel the same way? I'm trying to build consensus to help push Sal in the same direction.
Thanks for your support.

I'm not sure about a waved version, but I'd love to see a version in serrated H1. It would be perfect for where I work.

Oh my god a waved Delica wharncliffe would be such an over the top amazing knife I would be obligated to get one.

My thought is the wave could be added without adding to the profile because there is so much existing material to work with.

Waved with a stud like the pikal

Honestly the Pikal's wave feature, that little peg, is the best functioning wave I have ever used. It also seems to be easier on the pocket as well. Not to mention it is removable if you don't like it. In today's day an age more knives should come with a feature like this.

Not interested in a waved version. I believe Sal said that a HAP40 D4 Wharny is in the works. Any future runs/colors will depend on sales.

I am saying that if Spyderco put out knives with a Pikal style wave if you weren't interested in the waved version of the knife you could take the wave off without changing the profile of the blade in anyway whatsoever.

OK, sounds reasonable :)

Don't worry though I don't think they are going to be putting the Pikal peg wave on their other knives any time soon. Which is a shame it is probably the best wave system on any knife out there in my experience.

I'd be in if there were different colors. I don't buy knives with black handles.....unless I'm buying them for someone else. In fact, I just bought my brother a black Stretch to replace his missing (purple) Endura. He loves the knife, but he was so disappointed that it was black. I should have just gotten him another purple Endura...

I'm not interested in a wave feature, but I'd be in for some different colors. ZDP would be cool but VG10 is fine, just something other than black... I have enough knives with black handles. I'd like to see something like dark green, dark blue, brown, maroon, dark gray... anything like that.

No wave. Useless feature. I ground mine off. That's just me, though. I'm still hoping for a goldenrod yellow one. Hopefully they're selling well. Kind of hard to get a hold of.

I usually don't like paying full price for user knives but if Sal does this in a handle color other than that orange I will pre order this one!

As I said to all those people saying they don't like or want the wave feature. If they would release the knife with a Pikal style peg wave you can just unscrew the peg if you don't want a wave and it doesn't change the outline of the blade at all. It also can't add that much to the cost of the knife all they have to do is tap one more hole in the blade spine and screw in the peg.

no wave, sort of useless are my thoughts, but i still enjoy my delica/wharncliffe that came in black/FRN,but i changed the scales out for some nice carbon fiber ones, you could buy other delica 4's in another color rage and just change out its scales!but you will soon have a collection going,,,

The problem with the screw in Pikal wave on this knife is the blade stock is too thin to support it. The Pikal is thicker and thus supports having a threaded hole drilled in the top
