So quick question 35 bucks for a stainless steel Delica 4 little or no use , no box: deal, steal or mistake?

Sounds like a fair deal if you can handle (no pun intended) a stainless steel handle. I don't generally like them.

I like the stainless steel..gives it a more classly look, perhaps it will be my formal wear knife...I bought a new Spyderco tenacious for 17 bucks..that will be my bad weather knife...lol

Hey BlacJackDan, Did you see that Delica in Livonia? I saw a used Delica at Shooters Service for the same amount! I tried out the one I saw but man, was it stiff. I couldn't open it one-handed.

Yeah..i'll check it out real close when i get it...most of the knife dealers i buy stuff off of allow me to return it if it has a issue..never had a problem.

Deal in my book...i would buy it but then again i would by alot of things that i dont need at roughly 50% off...

The only thing with some spyderco knives.. the blade comes to such a sharp point, often it seems the point of the blade breaks off,...anyone else experience this?

That's not the case with the Delica 4, it comes with a stronger tip than the previous models. That's the only recent "improvement" I'm not too fond of, I liked the Delica and Endura 3 blades a lot.
