Delica Clip foolery

I got tired of my new delica clip looking like a pile of poo only after a few weeks of carry. The paint was wore off 75% of the surface. It looked like the knife was 50 years old. I have a decent bit of visible scratches on the blade too. It seems this one isn't taking kindly to moderate edc...
Anyways just took a wire wheel to the thing and I love the look of it and wanted to share it. Makes me want to bead blast the hardware, blade and spine now.
Not perfect, I didn't worry about the underside or the sides of the clip. Just quick and dirty fix that came out very nice in my opinion.

Very nice. I did the same thing with my Delica. Hit it with some 600 grit sandpaper I had, then took some flitz to it. Came out alright imo. Matches the rest of the knife a little better.

Looking good! I guess I'm just especially easy on my knives or extremely lucky. My clips hardly ever show wear.

I'm thinking since he has a waved Delica, he has been playing with the wave function a lot :D and the constant in and out of the pocket being waved contributed to the clip wear. If he hasn't then I haven't a clue as to why it showed so much wear. I've got a few knives over a year old with black pocket clips that hardly show any wear just a few dings from being banged/dropped.

Also, the the OP, you missed a few spots on the side of the clip. You can see them in the second picture, might wanna go after those with some sandpaper to get a uniform color!
