Delica clip replacement question

So I bent the clip on my Delica. Snagged it. I was able to bend it back well enough for pocket duty, but it's still pretty loose. I just can't get it right. A large auction site that I frequent has some replacements available. I see that there is a black clip and a stainless clip offered. Now, I just stripped the clip anyway because I liked the look and I don't mind doing it again, but I'm wondering, is the stainless offering that I'm seeing the same clip without the black coating? In other words, is the black clip made out of the same material and I would save about $2 if I just strip it myself again, or should I take this opportunity to upgrade the clip because this "stainless" baby is going to hold up better. Thanks!

I just called Spyderco and ordered a new clip. Much cheaper. Thanks, SEARCH! The guy I spoke to says the clips are made of the same metal. That solves that mystery.

The one caveat when ordering a replacement "hourglass" clip from Spyderco for an FRN, G-10, or CF handled knife is that some of the stainless ones do not have the lanyard hole in them. That can be a plus, if you carry tip up and don't use a lanyard, because it makes for a stronger clip. But it can be a real problem if you prefer tip down carry, since it won't fit over the pivot screw, or if you carry tip up and want the option of using a lanyard or fob.
