Tell me if I am crazy for worrying about this. Just got this new Delica today. I feel like the tip on the left is more narrow and looks like somebody screwed up the machining. Picture next to my wife's.

Purple one looks off to me.

Every delica I've seen looks like the zdp or black one pictured here.

Both look normal to me. These are sub-$100 production knives...slight variations will occur. Definitely not a defect.

I agree. Humans are involved in the production and humans are variable :)

I'm so used to looking at the points on my 2 Enduras and Tenacious that it looked way off to me. It is indeed different, but when I checked out the pictures of the blade again on Amazon it's exactly like mine. I think they changed the grind, per a rep from Spyderco. The Zome green is very cool, love the Delica 4. Now for my other thread on my next knife...

Obviously they are different, but they about as close as you get to mini or large versions of the same knife. And my wife's older Delica has the same tip as my Enduras, so I'm not way off the mark I don't think. That said, as I mentioned I now realize they have a different grind on the Delicas and it's all good.
