You wouldn't be disappointed by either the Delica or Endura. Both are classic Spydercos that have been top sellers for years.

The Delica and Endura are basically identical except for size. The main differences between them and the Calypso Jr. is hollow versus flat grind blades and tip-up versus tip-down carry. I do have a Calypso Jr. and a few Delicas and Enduras.

I don't have an image of the 3 side-by-side, but here's a link to a website which shows all Spyderco knives sized proportionately so you can compare the sizes of any models.

Hope this helps!

I am a Spyderco fan. I am also a fan of many other knife companies too but it seems like no matter which knives I buy, or even which knives I make for myself, (as I can pretty much make what I want from looking at pictures) I always find myself going back to the Delica. Here lately I've taken to the Endura a good deal of the time because I had never really given it much more than a passing glance in the past. I finally got one used in stainless with full serrations and another right after that in the tan VG10 blade combo edge and both are super great knives. I'd have to say that these two models, the Delica and the Endura are basically the same knife in two differing sizes. If you like flat grind knives though get you a Calypso Jr. as stated above.

The Delica fits into society much better and doesn't seem to inspire the gasp or shocked look when you open it in public. It is also pretty much legal in all states whereas the length of the blade on the Endura can get you into trouble some places. So for me the Delica has seen more pocket time than many of the knives in my collection. The only other one that has seen more is probably my old Swiss Army knife.

If you really like the finger choils on the CalyJr, you may miss them on a delica. However the endura is a significantly different size...

I recently purchased two new Spydercos -- a Meerkat (now discontinued but still widely available from various vendors) and a Scorpion. I already own a Native III.

The Meerkat is a great EDC -- small blade that doesn't tend to frighten people but the grip gives you a good hold.

I like all three knives. I alternate between the Meerkat, which is comparable in size to the Calypso, and the Scorpion (3" blade) for EDC. Both have GREAT ergonomics and the solid Spyderco construction. The Meerkat can be had for about $20 from eBay sellers and the Scoprion, which has a stainless steel grip, is about $50.

The Native III is about $40 and would be a nice EDC for some folks. Pesonally, I find the thick blade (about 3/16") a bit too thick for my EDC uses -- cutting paper and boxes, and sometimes tape and plastic.

I own the Delica, the Endura, the Native III, the Meerkat, the Vesuvius, the older Rescue (2000), the G-10 Police, the SS Endura (aka Endura II), the micarta Goddard Jr, and the micarta Calypso Jr.

Which one do I carry everyday above all the rest?

The Native III.

Yes, it's that good.
The only knife I have considered switching to is the Native with S30V.

Good luck,
Allen.
