Hi Sal,

When are these going to be released. I would think these would not be hard to produce since the Delica and Endura are already in the lineup.

Thanks,

Hi Sing - New blade material (need to purchase), new blade tooling, new grinding method (not done before), new sku to inventory and promote, etc.

If I'm correct, we expect them next month. I'm on the road, but Joyce can probably go down the hall and check Susan's board?

Sal,

GEE... goes to show how much I know about production!

Glad they're out soon though. And looking forward to getting some. Thanks.

James, that is actually a pretty neat idea.

Sing,

I have two from Eric Remmen from about 4 years ago...nicely done Enduras a lefty and a righty.

I made one from a newer Endura with the reversible pocket clip, it is very nice indeed...good training tools...now I don't have to stand at a grinder with a can of water anymore

and then for over 2 hours on a whetstone actually rounding the edge and point to where it will cut nothing.

Sal and Spyderco will do it all now with no good knives being turned into Trainers and might even be a little easier on the wallet as well.

Sal,

By the way, my wife carries a Merlin most of the time, sometimes two of them! Any chance on a Merlin/Harpy Trainer? That would be very nice indeed...and has the decision been made to go full speed ahead with a Civilian Trainer?

Sing - It would probably do all knife aficianados well to know a little about the manufacturing of these items we love & respect.

Don - No plans yet. Waiting on the Endura/Delica "Trainers" to see reactions
