I saw some pics that make it look as though the clip is "reversable" for lefties and righties as well as tip-up and tip-down carry. Is this correct?

Yes, that's correct. The clip on the Delica 2 can be changed from tip-down to tip-up, but not right to left handed (in case anyone was wondering).
I have to say that the Delica 2 is nice because of the price point on a stainless knife, but the AUS-6 blade needs attention frequently. Mine sits in a box now. I never carried it frequently.
