Delica micarta scales DIY (howto)

Had some requests, so here it goes...

The Delica is a great knife IMO, but the FRN just doesn't do it for me.
So I've found a relative easy way to make micarta scales for it, just press the steel liners in the micarta (when it sets ;) )

Here is my delica (black and blue jeans) :

This is after the micarta has set after 24 hours :

Then drill the holes, et voila :cool:
 
Thanks for this, I've actually been thinking abut attempting the same exact thing, but I was afraid that I might not be able to remove the liners once everything was set up if I made a mistake!

The micarta is wrapped in baking paper, so it won't stick to the liner ;)
