Delica, Native or Endura?

Never owned an Endura, but I love both the Native and the Delica. It's a close race, but the Delica wins out for me--you will forget that it's in your pocket, and it is a great knife.

Delica is better, but the clip is worse, I"ve lost them. Native is good, never got accustomed to the point on the bottom of the handle. Endura is great, too bad they don't make a Delica at 3.5" with a generation 3 profile, it'd be perfect.

Endura, if you're going to wear it clipped. Delica, if you carry it loose in your pocket without the clip on it.

Native (S30v) ;)

Just b/c because its the same price as the Endura and Delica but better steel

P.S. the Delica is just a smaller verison of the Endura.

The Delica is my first choice. Fits the hand well, disappears in the pocket, opens in a flash. Just feels right. Along with my beater Military, probably my favorite EDC folder.

The Native is slightly thicker, slightly beefier, with a partially obscured but still useable thumbhole and pointy blade profile.

Endura is a larger Delica. Not quite as ergonomic for me, doesn't quite fit my hand quite so naturally as the Delica. I like it just fine. But not as well as the other two.

So go with the Delica.

I carry a waved Delica 4 every day as a backup blade. It's fallen out of my waistband once, but fortunately nobody noticed!

get both the native 1 and a delica. or a native and an endura if you want a bigger knife too.

i prefer my delicas and enduras to be fully serrated.

I've always liked the native's blade, but I wish the knife was an extra inch overall. The Endura 4 always has my vote, especially the foliage green G-10 with the full flat grind blade (insert drool :p).

If you want a mix of the delica and native, look at the Tenacious. Good blade size/shape and a great handle to boot

Good price point and four way carry as well. Hope this helps, J.

I own all three and I've found that the Endura fits my large hands best. they are all excellent and affordable knives so I would suggest going to a local shop and trying them in your hand, then go with whatever feels best to you. VG-10 and S30v are both great steels so I wouldn't base the decision on that alone. In my experience s30v holds an edge better but it is also much more brittle and prone to chipping and tip breakage whereas the VG-10 is more reliable and the delica/endura 4's have much much stronger tips. My personal favorite is the Foliage Green G10 full flat ground VG-10 Endura. Costs twice as much as the normal Endura 4 but with G10 scales and a full flat grind its worth it to me.

Tough call, all three are great performers. Of the three, I like the Native, just a personal preference, but I dig them all.

My choice would be a Native III or a Delica 4. If you have larger hands then the Endura is the better choice

Out of the three i prefer Native, due to better ergos (for my hand), finger choil and the blade shape.
Regarding S30v and vG10, both are very good steels.

i have all those mentioned

D4G10>E4G10>Native>D4FRN>E4FRN

nothing wrong with Endura, but the shape of the handle just don't like my hands

I have a Native III in VG10 and a Delica. The Native III gets more pocket time. I love the way it fits my hand.
