Delica new custom CNC handle - help needed

Hi guys,

a couple of years back I redesigned the Delica handle to fit my personal preferences a little better. Don´t get me wrong, I love the Delica´s blade shape, but in my opinion the handle wasn´t quite on the same level as other handles like the PMII´s or the Dragonfly´s.
Back then I made the handle out of a thin sheet of G10 and steel liners, however I always wanted to make a full G10 handle as well.
As you might have guessed from the title that didn´t work out too well and I still haven´t done it yet.
The idea was to cnc it, but I never got further than installing Fusion 360 :D

Maybe one of you could help me with that, I think the design is actually quite nice and some of you guys could like it as well. If there is interest in this project, I would like to make it publically available for everyone.

The handle shape is inspired by the Dragonfly which has in my opinion the nicest Spyderco handle in terms of design. All curves “flow” into each other, there are no gaps and you get a second choil. Also the blade to handle ratio is a little better as well.

Here´s a picture of what it looks like.

Let me know what you think and if one of you maybe has an idea, how to get this project alive again :)

Maybe you could follow the dragonfly 2 lines down to the flair where your second finger lands? A lot of people are looking for a full size DF2. A Delica sized DF2. Seems as though you could CNC a couple lines for a wire clip everyone seems so fond of too? I'm just throwing stuff at the wall here.

I tried the original dragonfly lines, however it looks more harmonious and feels better in hand with the second groove.

I´ve already looked at Boomer52´s handles and I´m a big fan of his work! Especially the Verrazano version looks amazing, he would be indeed a great contender for help :D

As for more pics, I only have old ones as the knife is not assembled right now..

the last one was just a quick test fit before sinking the screw holes to the right depth..
