I have a Spyderco Delica that has the molded on clip and G-2 stainless steel. I was wondering if anyone here knows about how old this knife is. I've had it for a very long time I know that. I only own 2 Spyderco kbives, both of which are Delicas. I've owned more in the past but I sold them all. I also kind of have a complant. The new Delica that I have has VG-10 steel but the fit and finish of it is no where near the fit and finish of the older knife. It has balde play and I can't get the same edge on the VG-10 that I can on th G-2. Also on the old knife the opening hole is rounded off for a nice finish but the new one has sharp edges. Don't get me wrong I'm not bashing Spyderco because I know that they make good knives but I just wanted to ask about my older model. Thanks.

I too have a G2 Delica w/molded clip. I like mine MUCH BETTER then the new stainless VG10 I have. However, it is ONLY because of the steel. There is NO excuse for blade play, and I doubt any of Glesser's team would stand for it either. As long as you did not abuse the thing...send it back. They do right by you, trust me.

Cool link, Mongo. Thanks!!! I always think Spyderco should have something like that in their website.

Thanks everyone for the replies.

DANGELO, I didn't abuse the knife it was that way when I purchased it brand new. I can't remember where I ordered it from. I think that I might just send it back to Spyderco and see what they can do about it. The blade play isn't real bad but there is more in it than there is in my old one. Thanks again.
