:)

Yesterday I was hiking with my wife. I had carried an apple in my pack. Suddenly my wife reported she was hungry.

I tacticooly deployed my new FFG Delica and was able to slice the apple with precision and without issue. Afterward the victim replied with a "thanks".

Tragedy averted... yeah, I live life out on the edge... pretty hardcore...

Oh, and the blade is still razor sharp even after this type of rigorous work.

:) Just playing! But I sure am enjoying my Delica... even for the simple tasks. :)

glad you and your wife made it through that hairy situation! spyderco's ffg is some amazing stuff.

Thats what it is all about. Living life on the edge, hunter/ gathering, having a trusty knife at your side , and impressing the wife. Glad you like the ffg delica. FARON

Sounds like a veritable HAAARD-USE folder, right?
How many overstrike hits against the apple did you shell out on the poor delica before slicing up the apple? :D

I do have to say, I had to be very careful as the darn thing is razor sharp! But as my dad always said, a sharp knife is a knife that gets respect!

It was also getting on to dusk and on numerous occasions I had to tell my wife that I had my fire kit, and could make a debris shelter in a matter of moments. She suggested we just hike out the last mile to the car. Pfft.

You should have skinned out a rabbit and cooked it over a fire (that you started with your fire kit) thrown together the debris shelter and made a night of it . Then you could tell her , See , That's why I need good knives ....
:D

Hey, don't under-play the effects of hunger! It can kill!! :P
Job well done in saving a life ;)

Most importantly, you didn't cut yourself with that shiny new blade! Good work!

The Delica is a great mix of the utility of the Endura but easier to carry and use in public to keep from scaring the sheeple. I love mine.
