Delica Stiffness??

Hey Guys,
I currently have 2 delica's. One of them is smooth and easy to open. The other is stiff to open. I have tried adjusting the pivot and I can't make it any easier to open without a large amount of horizontal play. I think it has to do with the lock bar so I oiled the lock bar pivot and lightened the screw but it is still stiff to open. It's not super stiff, just stiff enough than I can't flick it. It's more of an annoyance than a problem. Any idea's how to fix this?? Should I send it to spyderco?
Thanks

I had the same problem, I just delt with it. I don't use the knife much so I let my dad carry it and he doesn't know much about knives so he doesn't care.

Its not a problem with the knife, just a feature of the lock, if you want to flick something look at a comp lock, liner lock or RIL. I just open my delica casually with my thumb... but if you really have to flick it open, try giving it a little help with your wrist to carry it out.

Ok thanks. I have no problem with not flicking the knife. It just annoyed me that the other was so smooth.

I have to agree with Videl-I just open my delica casually with my thumb, both of my delicas are non flippers. I have a orange one coming and expect the same thing.

My Delica is also rougher/grittier than my Stretch. (I've only got 2 Spydercos to compare.)
The rub marks on the ricasso would seem to show that the blade is slightly rubbing the liner.

I just live with it.
