Which one? What the heck (other than the hilt) is the difference between Natives anyway? They seem to be so similar in design--does one have an advantage or disadvantage?

Um, one has a stainless steel HANDLE and an AUS10 blade. One has a FRN HANDLE and a VG10 blade. And one has a FRN HANDLE and a S30V blade.

They feel completely different. The finger choils to some make the Native more comfortable. For me they got in the way. Also, I guess I was used to the profound Spyderco "hump" where the hole is and the Native blade drops down into the handle more than I was used to and I didn't like it. It just didn't seem to flow during the opening of the blade for me like it does with my Salts or Delicas. The humps raise the blade and make thumb position more natural for me on those models.

Personally the Salt 1 that I rebuilt the body on is my favorite EDC now because it feels like the Calyso Jr in the hand. which is one of, if not Spydercos best knife overall IMO. I'd take a CJ over both a Delica or Native personally but the CJ has it's lack of appeal in the smaller opening hole.

One thing I do find particularly appealing about the Native though is the fact that it is made in Golden Co. But I like VG 10 better than S30V. I have not noticed a significant edge holding ability personally with the S30V over the VG10 but I have noticed the VG10 is significantly easier to sharpen and maintain the edge on. It also doesn't seem to have the reported edge chipping problems that have been plaquing the S30V.
