Very different knives.
Blur is assisted. Delica is not.
Blur has a recurve. Delica doesn't (so might be slightly easier to sharpen in some ways).
Blur is thicker, heavier and larger.
Blur has aluminum scales vs. the Delica's FRN.

Basically, if you are looking for a lighter, slimmer knife, go with the Delica. If you want something beefy, go with the Blur. Keep in mind that beefy and strong are not necessarily related. I'd wager on the Delica being capable of taking just as much abuse if not more than the Blur.

For what it's worth, have both and like both.

Two completely different knives. What do like about each of them? Do prefer lock back over liner lock? Do you want the faster deployment of the Blur?

I went ahead and ordered the delica. I just want a comfortable EDC that holds an edge. Good chance I'll order the blur soon as well because I'm weak

The Delica has 4 way pocket clip positioning. The blur can only be carried in two position so if it doesn’t carry the way you are accustom to It might be a reason to stay away for it.

Blur has way more horse power. I'd pick it over the delica any day of the week for a work knife.

The Delica is very capable and very light weight. If that's a factor.

Not even comparable really. So it shouldn't be too hard to decide .

Now you have me confused!

You’ve made very good decisions. Both knives are very nice and proven designs.

The Delica has been refined over many years to become a premier production folding knife that carries very well and offers great cutting performance. It almost disappears in your pocket and has a secure back lock. It’s offered in an array of steels, colors, and even a few different blade shapes.

The Blur is also a great pocket knife, although many past offerings are no longer available. It suffers from a poor pocket clip in my opinion, but makes up for that with easy to clean flow through design and robust aluminum scales. It also has a more robust blade that has less flex than the Delica.

You will be more than happy with both! Congratulations on your new acquisitions!

I picked Blur because it's bigger and I like bigger, and it's not a lockback and I like any other lock mechanism better than a lockback.

This was a tough one I sided with the delica however when you thin out the edge of the blur it's a pretty amazing knife too.

As others have said, these are very different knives.
I have both. Like both. But, my Blur in 14C28N gets carried a lot more.
♦ The Delica has higher performing VG10 steel, the blade is possibly a more useful shape. No one is started when I use it. But it isn't as much fun as the Blur.
♦ The Blur has better ergonomics and better balance. Feels like an extension of my hand. Wonderful aesthetics, the curve of the blade continues into the handle. It's just a pretty knife. And then there is the assisted open. It's fun to use. The only downside is that I have accidentally startled folks when opening the knife. It is hard to open the blur unobtrusively.

Easy one for me.
The Blur has no lefty carry option. So I would never even consider it.
Delica all the way. It is 100% ambidextrous.
