Delica ZDP-189 Colors

I've been looking at the Delica ZDP-189 online and really liked the look of the British Racing Green handles.

Now, I'm blessed with being not far from Plaza Cutlery, so I stopped in this am for a look. The Delica ZDP they showed me was more of a gray, almost black. This raised several questions:

--is this how the green actually looks in person?

--are there any other colors of the ZDP than green? Is it possible she picked up the wrong one?


On other Delica questions: in the regular model, what colors are they thinking of bringing out in the near future?

The first ZDP-189 Delicas were a slightly greyed blue very similar, if not identical, to that used on the ZDP Stretch. Don't have the green one, so can't really say what that looks like, but BRG in general tends to be a dark, blackish green, which is the way the online catalog illustration looks on my screen. Given the number of colors the VG-10 version is now available in, not sure if any more are planned.

The regular VG-10 delica is readily available in green, blue, gray, brown, and purple (FFG). And the standard saber ground in black. The 2011 catalog shows the ZDP-189 delicas with a near black FRN, which confuses me as well

Here's the British Racing Green color. It is very dark and in some lighting it can look near black
