Just ordered my middle grandson a delica . He picked the blue one . Not much of a knife guy ,but when he handled my youngest grandsons delica. He said this is nice .
So i got him one coming . I really believe the delica is a good choice. They are geting pricy . But its a tough little knife .

Since 2013 I have carried TWO Spydies on me almost daily. I like "pairings". Until Valentines Day last year, that was ALWAYS an Endura and a Delica, usually in matched colors. I would go back and forth every month or two from saying the Endura was my favorite to the Delica being my favorite. I "PROBABLY" decided on the Endura, just because the thinness and light weight still allow it to be a low profile carry knife, and it fits my hand better, and gives a bit more edge. The Delica however still felt awfully good and made a good daily "real world task" knife.

NOW, for the last year, I have went from Endura/Delica to Police 4/Endura. So the ENDURA is now my "smaller, lighter" "backup"!

If I could only have one folder the Delica would probably be it. At first I thought it would be too small but I found out it handles everything I need to do in a day more easily than a bigger knife. Mix a thin blade with a full flat grind and a strong lock, imo that's as close to perfect as it gets. I really can't say enough about the design.

I’ve come full circle on the Delica, from loving it to ‘meh’ to loving it again.
I’m carrying a V-Toku 2 Delica today, as a matter of fact.

They are indeed getting pricey; I fear they might price themselves out of competition. It’ll be a shame if that happens.

Yeah, one of my first Spyderco models I owned and still one of my favorites. I don't really carry one as much as I used to but will never sell any of mine. It's a staple Spyderco that I think everyone should try at least once.

Good choice I have a blue 1.
The delica is still my favourite Spyderco, as it's the only model I have multiple versions of.
Here in Oz all soydercos are expensive. The delica is still reasonable, although I always try to find a sale or discounted price.

Delica in Blue handle frn was my first Spyderco.... unfortunately I put it some where safe, and have not found it yet. That was 3 years ago....???

It is not in my actual safe, however!

Speaking of Delicas, whatever happened to the traveling Delica thread? That was really cool.

Well friends , he is carring it every chance he gets . So for an old grandfather, lets call it mission accomplished.
As you guys know a lot of younger guys no longer wear pants or jeans . And a delica is perfect for those types of pants . Light ,bright and stays put . And it could accomplish all most any task .
I believe one could easily last 25 years One last question, what does the word delica mean ?

Then there’s always the Mitsubishi Delica. When I was on Okinawa, these babies ruled the island!

Unlike the Mitsu, I don’t think Spyderco’s version was patterned after Scooby-Doo’s Mystery Machine, however. ;)

I've been carrying my Cruwear Delica as of late. The thin slicey blade of the Delica in Cruwear is a cutting machine!

Carried My V-toku2 Delica today. It's kind of the perfect matter separator.
