Just wanted to alert those of you with Galyans outdoor stores in your area. ;) (I have no affiliation with Galyans.) I got two PEs today.

The Galyans in Glenview Illinois barely carries ANY knives, 'cuz they're not PC. Just great....

There's a galyans in the Roosevelt field mall in Long Island

Anyone else here occasionally accidentally call it GAYlans?

Spyderco Delica. VG-10 blade, FRN handle. This Galyans is in Columbus, Ohio. I know it's a chain and it has stores in other states but I don't know where they are. If there's one in your area give them a call. They also had the USA-made Serrated Edge Natives on sale (S30V blade, FRN handle) for under $40.

Was just tracking a Delica PE on eBay that went yesterday for $20 and a few cents. Another option for an inexpensive Delica, especially in the West where we don't have those stores.

There are lots and lots of PE Delicas at Galyans in Omaha. I forgot to check on the Natives though. Damn. I'll have to go back.

Hey Mongo.....I plan on going to the Orland Park store in Illinois (for those of you who don't know) & I will see what they have. I remember them having a bunch of knives, but will see tomorrow exactly what.......

Here's hoping!

I hit them yesterday. I got one of the Delicas (My 1st Spydie!!), one of the cheepie Camp USA knives so when somebody needs one I can pawn it instead of something worth anything, a Winchester lockback that I can pawn to somebody who wants something that looks nice (faux-stag handles) and a "Game Cleaning" kit from Gerber with the Gerbie saw and a Gator. I picked up some cord to remake the dog's leash too, as he chewed through his old one. All in all, I paid $50 and some change, and I feel like I robbed them!
