I remember a PC sheath invented by Imada (not sure), called "Deliverance".
It allowed to draw the balisong by pulling kind of a ribbon (which was around the knife when the sheath was "closed").
My explanations are not really clear, but I can't explain the principle very well in English.
Anyway, do you know what happened to this sheath?
Does anyone here has a sheath like this?

They have fallen by the wayside of history apparently.

It is more or less as you described, the "ribbon" you are talking about was the nylon retaining strap that once pulled to release [velcro] you kept pulling and it went all the way down in the sheath and pulled the knife out for you.

Don't have one, wish I did, just for the collection.

A sheath with a pull ribbon was delivered (hence deliveranced?) with the Dalton ASP...but for this particular sheath if one can pull the ribbon why not just pull the knife..??

Michael,

It just eliminated one motion, the ripping of the retaining strap immediately went to the draw. It had the capability to be more fluid instead of a one step two step mode.

Never tried one, seems neat in a way, would be nice to have with the rest of the "Pacific Cutlery Era" stuff...like the old ankle/wrist sheath too.
