Delivery date of CQC6

I place an order for a custom CQC6 in July 1996 and have yet to receive it. Everytime I call I am always told how busy Ernie is with his Specwar knives company, but that he is starting to roll out his backlogged orders and i should be getting mine in about a year. Well I have been receiving this same message for the past 3 year. When I originally placed my order the wait time was anywhere from 12 to 18 months. What happened? I don't want to sound pushy, but I just want to know where I stand and WHEN I can expect my order to be placed approximately....yeah, i know...in approximately one year!!!!... my invoice number is in the early 900's. Any info you could supply me would be very helpfull. Thank you.

The last one that i know of that was delivered,was ordered in april of 96 with a 794 invoice number.Hope this helps some.
The invoice number for my CQC9 is low 1200's,wish mine was in the 9's.
Maybe some of the "suspects" can help out as well.
