Have you used it? Pros and cons? Why does no one in here mention its use?
 
It's kinda soft, and will take dents and scrapes easily. It might make a fine working knife handle, but it won't be pretty for any length of time...
 
Burns or toasts pretty easily too and once you get that scar in there it's difficult to get out.
 
If I remember right, I used some delrin to make a press mold one time. 3 or 4 layers of epoxy soaked fabric and clamp till cured. Worked good because the epoxy didn't stick to it. That's not what I would want in a knife scale.
 
It might be worth mentioning that delrin scales have been used in traditional folders for many decades. Pinned, not glued of course.
 
Delrin is great for moulded, pinned handles on production knives.
It's OK for custom knives, but there are better materials.
