Well thanks to Dylan's generosity, from his Bushcraft Contest. I am now the proud owner of two Delta-5s, since my wife hepled me win the contest, and allows me great latitude in my outdoor endeavors. I pulled the trigger and grabbed a second Delta-5 off Dlyan's Maniac Monday page. It will go in my wife's pack. They arrived yesterday so I have not had much chance to use them yet.

I am impressed with the excellent fit and finish. They both arrived hair popping sharp. The knife has a good feel to it, hefty, but well balanced. It feels good in hand, comfortable, natural, and easy handling.

I will add to this as I get some field time with the knife, but here are a few shots to get the ball rolling,

Playing around the wood pile,

It made short work of some leftover chicken for chicken and biscuits last night,

Nice! Dylan makes awesome knives. His fit and finish is always top notch, his grinds are great, and his ergonomics are stellar. Have fun with it man, I think you'll enjoy it.

Nice photos but now I am hungry again! Congrats on your win!

Yeah, my Delta was involved in a good bit of food prep :) Awesome knife, though as awesome as the ergos were, I do like his new handles better.

I'm gonna weigh 500 pounds if I keep looking at the photos on here especially considering it usually late at night. The Delta 5 is a sweet knife! Feels just perfect in the hand.

Hmm, I already am required to put a "pic heavy" warning on a lot of my posts...shall I do a food content warning from now on as well? Lol

I spent this week carrying concrete forms for a sick buddy. Lost seven pounds since Sunday morning. Eleven hour days, fruit and nuts for lunch, and all the water I could find.

Used to do it for a living a long time ago, can't say as I miss it.

Heading back into the woods next week, so hopefully I'll get some action out of the new Delta soon.

Sorry for the delay, but we were a tight group of a-holes,

The Hawk is fairly new to me, but so far, so good. Two Hawk's Longhunter. It has leaped to the front of my hawk pack!

Yep, more than two decades as a union carpenter, and I can't say as I miss it either. Your back has my sympathy.

Mistwalker,

Please tell us about the bacon??

Nothing special, just hog jowl bacon...it's a southern thang ;)
