Delta Z all gone?

evidently im not up on things! I just read that Delta Z is now gone? can anyone shed any light on what happened to them? I really wanted to try to find the key thats used to adjust their pivots. I thought about using snap wring pliers, but I wanted something that would keep the pivot from getting torn up. I know they made a key, but now where do you find it?
 
yes indeed, Delta Z is no more. They had a closeout sale a while back, and everything was sold. Cant help you with the key thing though, maybe you can figure something out at the hardware store, or try borrowing one from sombody around here. good luck.
 
A lot of their stuff was made in Italy. You might want to cruise some Italian makers like Fox to see if they have comparable knives with the same pivot. I know Fox makes knives that are sold under Martini and AG Russell, sometimes the same knife or axe can be found with more than one brand name.
 
rev_jch I know exact what your talking about, one came with one of my Maple Ospreys and I have since lost it. I have been using Needle Nose pliers but if you find the "keys" let me know as well Thanks
 
To be honest, I prefer using needlenose pliers to adjust mine. The key is just made of soft aluminum, I bent mine accidentally. If you're careful, it won't mark the pivot. Just use really little pliers. Oh, and the G-10 Ospreys do not come with the pivot, it's only with the Maple Burl model. I found that out when I ordered a few from Delta Z in their big firesale.
