Demko Armiger?

Looks like a solid choice from him, with good steel and his designs are always spot on. Any feedback?
I don't have any , but agree with above .

These designs look more like old school Cold Steel than the new GSM designs .

Wish Demko was running the show at Cold Steel , at least the design/testing side .

Good , clean designs that work .

He is one of my favorite designers. I can’t really think of anything he’s designed that was a major flop. Some of his Cold Steel designs (i.e. Triad lock) is truly industry beating. Just ordered one of these new fixed blades. They are priced right, especially in that steel. Most of my other knives in this steel are closer to the $200 mark. I’m betting the heat treat is good on these too if it has his name on it

I like most of Demko's stuff, but he doesn't yet have the sales volumes to be great value bargains ...yet .

Agreed. This is why this line caught my eye. The older Cold Steel stuff is/was such a bargain for this reason. His designs, along with Mad Dog Lynn’s conceptions and impeccable Taiwanese manufacturing were really hard to beat. Hopefully he is trying to cannibalize Cold Steel’s sales by getting back to basics. His choice of this steel, with his sheath and at this price point is a good start. I’ll report in when mine shows up

R rlewpolar thanks for posting a comparison. How is the handle? Is it thin like the CS Peacemaker or is it more substantial, thereby more comfortable for whittling, etc?

I've gotten the chance to hold one, the OD in clip point. I feel it's pretty grippy, very sharp and the coating looks like it came from an Esee lineup. I wasn't a big fan of the retention of the sheath however, it's rubberized and has 4 rubber nubs to hold it in place, so there's no snap and it eliminates sound. I think the knife is a bit thick, I'd have preferred .12
