Is there a secret password or code word to get Demko knives to answering an email. I have tried 2 or 3 times in the past couple of years and they have never responded to a single email I have sent.
 
They ignored my mail too. I suppose they dont take orders, and they propably get too much requests to take.
 
I think his books are beyond 2 years now. I ordered mine in July of 2012, still waiting. Can't wait until I get it, I think it will be worth the wait. He has answered emails from me a few times I had questions/ideas.
 
Demko has a years long waiting list to even get on his actual waiting list.

Fantastic knives, though.
 
The forum settings won't let me send you a pm either! All I was inquiring about is what does an AD-10 cost to order? As far as waiting I have no problem with that cause it would give a fellow time to save. I have big hands 2xl glove size. Is there a bigger model I would need to consider? Thanks
 
Same here. Emailed but never heard anything. I figured the address was just not being monitored anymore. I would like to order an AD-10.
 
What email did you send it to?

I was quoted a two year waiting list last summer. I'm on the waiting list to get on the waiting list...
 
In fact people should feel free to check in any time by email to confirm there on the most current list.
 
I have received correspondence from Mr. Demko, it's a long wait I believe but if I can get to own one of his folders it will be worth it! I had requested the standard 4 max with contoured G10 scales and cpm 154 steel and possibly a Titanium backspacer. Does this sound good to y'all?

Do you have to put a down payment on an order with such a long wait? Or is it just a matter of asking to get on the wait list and payment comes when it's your turn?

Exactly correct, no payment at all until just before I ship. By time your up and for whatever reason you need/ want to cancel no big deal. Also it takes heat off me, you can't get mad at a part time maker for being late if you have put on money in it.
