Demos at the HI FL convention.

Although nothing was planned at the Reno convention we did have demos.

Broken Arrow gave some demos of FMA and the khukuri. Very interesting.

Yvsa gave a sharpening demo and showed us how to get a razor edge on our khukuris. Good stuff but I am too impatient and lazy. You all saw my sharpening equipment. Worn out stone, worn out file and that little 98 cent crock stix deal.

Dave K did a two khukuri twirling demo. Not for me.

Lance Strong showed us some moves he had learned from Dr. Gyi. Good stuff and useful info.

Dan, Yvsa and I showed how to approximate hardness of the blade with a file. I guess it was not so amazing that we agreed on most everything.

I showed everybody how to drink Heineken.

The demos are interesting and fun.

Let' start this with Ray and me.

Uncle Bill, I could open those Heinekens with my teeth. There is a technique to it so you don't break them or pull them out of your head.

I plan on wrestling the folding chairs (if there are any). But we can always paint them green and paste cardboard teeth on them. Then I could engage in combat with the foul beasts while the crowd makes the animal roaring sounds.

How about one little gator he won't be as hard on your back? I have a iguana would that work? I also have a couple of monitors, So take your pick. They aren't quite as big as a alligator but they can still bite.
I would like to make it to the Florida Konvention though. I missed the Reno get together. We'll have to wait closer to time.

I have small gators in the canal behine my house they are just the right size to eat with out being eaten.If some want to try it I can have some gator meat at the Konvention.
I like myself.

Ray don't carry but about 4 at a time. Carrying too many khukuris at one time will throw your back out too.

Caddy, someone say "caddy"? Ya know, Doral might not be a bad place to hook up. Meet in a conference room in the AM, play 9, touch up the rough a bit, have lunch... lot's of corporate types have their buffet luncheons there - we could just stroll in and casually raid the line... Think we'd fit in?

"Pardon, I'd like some extra roast beef... yas, please.. oh, no bother, I'll slice my own, thankyouverymuch..." heh heh

I can do a demo on the care, feeding, and storage of HI shipping boxes, that's about it. Don't think I tossed one out yet
