My second annual "Build my grandson a knife visit" is coming to a close this weekend. This year it was the turn of my grandson no. 2 who is 2 years younger than the one last year. Amazing difference in choice of material from his brother. The older one chose damascus blade, explosion bolsters blued, mother of pearl scales, anodized titanium, and about four miles of filework. The younger one chose titanium frame anodized but no filework, carbon fiber bolsters and orange G-10 scales, and D2 blade. He said he wanted something he could take camping and "cut stuff" with.

Only problem was he had to have it lefthanded. So I made a lefty for him and a righty for me.

Thanks for looking.

Those are sweet!! Your Grandson has GREAT taste.

I LOVE those knives.

Really nice. Ya wanna adopt a 44 year old Grandson? Being a lefty I really like seeing this. Can be hard to find lefty stuff.

I need more grandkids that live closer. Like close enough to help me cut the grass, etc. :D

I have made several left hand knives over the years on request.

Once I had a customer that wanted a left hand auto. I tell him "no problem".
Just make everything backwards. Piece of cake right. Well, I make all my autos with coil springs. I never thought about the spring having to be wound in reverse. Only way I could make it was where it would close when you pushed the button. This is hard on fingertips.............

...........I now own a spring winder. Got his knife done though.

Thanks
