Your middle picture links back to a thumbnail, not to a larger picture. Check out this thread entitled "Bear with me" It might answer some of your questions about posting images.

Chris: Thanks Your photo's look grate. Thanks for the link.

Chris and Doug: I have tried almost every thing I can think of to get my pic's any bigger. If I set them 800x600 I get more than the required max 100 KB To get the 100 KB I have to commpress the picture. I just added 2 more with the same results. if any one out their thinks they can walk through the process, send me a private message with their phone # and time for me to call. I am in Arkansas which is centeral time

David,
You're not stupid at all.It took me over a year and a half before I could even post my first pic.
I read every "How To Post Pics" on the forums, till Chris and G2 stepped up and walked me through it.
I see Chris posted a link that should help out quite a bit, anywho,I dig both your new one's but that fighter is extra sweet.
What is its length?

Doug

Doug: Thanks for the good feedback. The blade on fighter is 6 1/2" and the over all length is 11 1/4". I am not sure about posting the pic. I to have trying for about, but I will figure it sooner or latter.

 David,
Thanks!
An idea would be to do your pic posting practice in this thread, that way you can get the hang of it.
Another idea would be to use an image hosting site,it's free,I use PhotoBucket and if it's easy enough for me,anyone can do it. :D

Again, very nice Damascus fighter.I like the small one as well.

Doug

Oops! Almost forgot. What are your avatar blades?

Doug, Thats a good idea on the the photo practice. My avatar are 1.my version of a copy of the Musso Bowie at the time Dennis hand forged it we were guessing on the demintions, which are blade 14" overall 19 1/4" the whith is of the blade is 2". I added the handle design, which I know is not any were close to the original oak handle. So iI guess I shoud call it something elese. 2. John nelaon Cooper Iron Mistress and the third Bowie is also J.N. Cooper.

PS. I have been doing a lot of reseaech, and now have the working drawings of 1830-1840 style Bowie Knife owned by Joesph Musso. Dennis is going to start work on it as he his time, right now he working on his Master Smith set of 5 knives for the blade show in 2007.

David,

If you have Photoshop, it has a great setting called "Save for Web". I don't really know how it does it, but it reduces the size of your file, without obvious distorting of the image. I then upload them to photobucket.

If you don't have Photoshop, send me a couple of pictures and I'll resize them to show you how it works. Don't send them to the email address I have listed on the forums, as I believe it restricts the size of the files I can receive. I send you a message with an alternate email.
