Bacon milkshake?...pass on that. I'm sure the chocolate is much better lol. Im just not crazy about bacon flavored dairy. The bacon sundae at BK was bad enough.

I had one of the bacon sundaes a couple years back. REVIEW TIME!!!

Denny's Maple Bacon Sundae has layers of bacon, vanilla ice cream, and maple syrup. I too was skeptical at first and ordered it on a whim. As soon as I took the first bite, I was hooked. The warm salty-ness of the bacon combined perfectly with the cool, sweet ice cream to make you crave more. The maple syrup leaves a delicious after taste while not being overpowering.

I've had chocolate covered bacon before and loved it, So I could see how it might be good. But it's still Denny's. Their food has a rather......how shall I say...... bad side effect on my stomach.

I'm quite familiar with eating ice cream with fries, the concept seems similar enough. I think the trick is to keep the contrast of hot and cold, salty and sweet, and crunchy and smooth, all the way into your mouth. You should do the blending yourself.
Sorry to say, I'm not sure if I'm sold on the Bacon shake either, unless maybe they just had the bacon in crunchy little bits (chocolate covered?) and not actual bacon flavoured drink.

I am with you on this one! I always get a stomach ache when I eat there. . . But the Bacon Milkshake thing might make it all worth it :thumbup:

I took the family other night and we had the Sundae. THey have a milkshake and a brownie too.

It was ok. Nothing special. Now, if was done at home with some good Breyers and fresh bacon it might be a lot better. It was an interesting combo.

THe milkshake just seemed ...........ignorant. I dont want to suck bacon through a straw

THe brownie would have probably been the best, but thats cause it would've just been a brownie with ice cream and little bacon.

I left my phone at home that evening but my daughter got a couple pics I will post later .
