Some people have posted that they carry a traditional folder in a Den's of England pouch. Anyone have any contact info for Den's? I Googled them but didn't come up with anything. Thanks.

I don't have one on me today so I can't scan it. Here's a pic I posted a while back. That's a Den's Case. The inside is unremarkable -- soft suede with a sewn in label. I've never known of a dealer for them online. I've bought most of mine from Simon Litton by letting him know what I need and then meeting up with him at shows.

I've got a bunch of Den's pouches. Best I've seen. Soft leather that molds to the knife over time. Velcro closure. I think the inside is lined with a synthetic material, not suede. That's nice because a leather lining would keep in moisture, and has the chemicals used in tanning, both of which aren't good for the knife.

I get mine from Simon Lytton when I see him at the Blade show. Sheathmaker extraordinare Paul Long makes some nice pouches too. Nice leather, tooled exterior, and sometimes a deerskin lined interior.

Mora, that's a nice home made pouch but it's a whole different animal than the kind of knife pouches being discussed here.

I use one of these. Very soft, and pretty much "sticks" upright. http://customknifegallery.com/ckgc_home.html then go to "slip pouches"

I have a couple of these. They are very well made. The horse hide is as supple as you can get.

That's one of the small ones in this picture:
