Denver to Golden drive time?

I'm going to be in downtown Denver for a conference in August and wondered how long it would take to drive to Golden.

Hoping to get some free time and pay a visit to a certain knife company...

I was on vacation out there this summer and visited Spyderco. Didn't get to see Sal but went to the SFO. It's hard to tell where Denver ends and Golden begins. Once I got to Denver, I just stayed on the interstate about 1/2 hour longer to get to Golden. I wouldn't pass up the opportunity.

Hi Joel,
It takes about 20 - 30 minutes depending on time of day and highway construction.
Depending on where you're at downtown, you can take I-25 NORTH to I-70 WEST and get off at the Golden / Central City Exit (Colorado Highway 58) to Highway 93. Go North (RIGHT) on Highway 93. Which is where the Spyderco Outlet is located on the left hand (WEST) side about 2 - 3 miles.
Again, depending where you're staying, you can also take 6th Avenue West out to Highway 93 but it kinda curves around to get there. But is probably quicker.
