Denver Trip 2016 PIC HEAVY

dI have been wanting to share some pics with everyone from my recent trip to Denver for my brother's wedding. It was agreat time for them and everyone involved. This was the first time that I have been able to spend time in the Denver area besides driving right thru. My wife and I arrived on Tuesday and spent the evening and next morning with my brother and his now wife before we all loaded up and headed to the cabin and venue we rented for his wedding in wild basin lodge. I knew there was going to be a difference for my body due to the altitude change, but didn't think much of it, oops. The altitude changes mostly only effected me when during the car rides going up from Denver to Wild Basin, then from Wild Basin to high elevations in Rocky Mountain National Park. The views were absolutley amazing and very cool to see some of the wildlife. Of course while I was there, I was always looking for handle material and photo props. When we were in the park on Friday, it was great to have our parents, us three brothers, and our wives, all together enjoying the views and time together. Due to the fact my family is spread out, about the only time we get to all spend together is usually once a year for Christmas at our parents house.

Altitude sickness can be a real bitch, and I hope that it did not cause you too much distress. I have had it a few times when traveling from the desert to the mountains, and I would not wish an altitude sickness headache on anyone.

Wow. These are beautiful. Breathtaking. I once did a solo motorcycle ride across the country, and dropped from Montana through Wyoming and into Colorado. It was really spectacular...and these pics make me want to head back!
