Well, the countdown has begun for my third trip (Second for Operation Iraqi Freedom) to Iraq. We have started the training phase, and I am now back on Active Duty with the US Army Reserves. Time lines are still classified, but I can say that I will be in country before summer ends. I get to stay on the installation this trip, as I will be driving a desk this time around, instead of a semi truck hauling fuel, like last time around. Wish my guys and me luck. I'll check in and give updates as I get the chance.

God speed! Let us know if you need anything!

Whatever you drive over there, take care. It's an honor to stand behind you and the rest of those who serve.

desks are good.

wacherass.

And pay attention to what our friend Kismet says. And be sure to practice your, "Duck & Cover" 'cause it seems way too often over there that buildings and desks get in the line of fire from rockets and such. ;) :)

Thanks for the heads up, and thanks for going back. We'll keep a stool open for you when you can drop in.

Thank you for your service....and may God speed your safe return.

Don't want y'all to send out a search party if I don't log in for the next 20-30 days. I start phase one of my pre-deployment training tomorrow. I don't know if I will have 'net access, or the time to stop by. Our days start early and will be ending late. I'll probably be too worn out to even turn on the laptop, trying to keep up with and keep in check the younger guys and gals. It is all training I've done before, but it is required for every unit heading over the pond. I should be back around the first week of July.

Watch 6, Bill.

I was thinking about moving to Washington State, where my Army buddy Mike has been doing bail bond recovery since after we both left active duty initially in late '03. I like WA, and the University of Washington in Seattle has an Asian Studies History Ph.D. and was recently ranked #1 in clinical psych programs, so both Jordy and I might have great programs to enter.

Then he called me a couple of weeks later to tell me he'd been reactivated. He's going to Iraq, too. Guess I won't be bounty hunting anytime soon...

Thanks, all, for your support.
I'm back at home for a couple of weeks, then I head back for more training and then on to Iraq.
