Yesterday I got a BK17. Wow I love it. Ethan I have carried many customs and production knives in my 15 years as a Infantryman and two tours to Iraq. This BK17 is perfect for this career. Sure the 16 is to but I don't have it yet. Size, weight, feel its perfect to me. These knives will be my recommendation deployment knives to friends. Well done. Thank you for this knife.

Well done to you. Thank you for your service sir, most appreciated.

Absolutely, thank you for your service!

If you've got large mits and want a set of liners for that BK17, let me know. I'll make some up for you in whatever color you desire (and I can get my hands on).

Keep spreading word of Beckers Caine. Im a 13F, 17years active so far........and always take my BK7 with me.

OhhAhh, thanks for your service. I was a 64C. 3yrs active in Kaiserslautern Germany 81-84. Then 5 1/2 yrs in the NYANG.

BK17 would make a fine deployment knife. As would a BK7, BK15, BK16, BK10. Spread the word, BK&T ROCKS !!! :thumbup::D

Thank you for your service,
I myself will be bringing my bk2 and my bk7 (soon to arrive) when i deploy next year.

You're gonna need a mighty strong belt.

I have a sheath rigged to my LBV for my bk2,and i the larger version that fits the bk7 is on its way,i dont know how much use theyll get in afganistan but i hate leaving my knives at home lol.....maybe i need a tweener for my edc.

Caine and DKibb thanks for your service fellas.
Nice to know you'll have some good steel over there.

Ethan will be stoked when he reads this one. Thanks for posting.

I think you have a solid choice in duty knife there -- and it even comes with a sheath that meets all the requirements for LBE carry.
carry it in good health and thank you for your service.

Great choice and thanks for your service. My son is in Marine boot now. Still lots of training to go but it is good to see the recommendations.

Thank you for your service guys, stumbled upon this thread late.
My brother just left to start basic as an infantryman yesterday, we're proud of him.
I plan on buying him a bk-17 as a graduation present.

Kyle

cool he will be coming to my range to shoot the M249 and M240b

As others have said, thank you for your service and may God keep you safe.

The 17 would be a perfect day-to-day deployment knife. Not too big to get in the way, not too heavy to add to the already insane load out but quite capable of doing most anything you will need it to do. One other nice thing is that it will be easy to maintain in the field.
