Question...what is the depth of the cutout made in the handle of a Sebenza for the wood inlay to go into?

Thanks!

Chris had mentioned that it is 50 thousandths.

Thanks! Now anyone know where I can find abalone or black lip pearl in 50 thou thickness?

Superman,
The wood inlay is not smooth with the titanium. The inlay material is about .060"+ above the surrounding surface. Total thickness of inlay would be approx. .110" -> .120" after finishing.

FK

Thanks for all the replies!

Don't worry James...I am not going to rip any wood out of my Seb!

I am thinking of getting an extra front handle slab from CRK and milling a pocket in it and inlaying abalone or pearl. Only I want it to be more flush with the handle than the wood is on a wood inlay. Anyone know of any sources for the inlay material?

TIA,

Steve
