Deramped BK12?

I think a guy named Eero was going to do it...

Not me. I just got mine last Month and haven't even gotten it dirty yet. Definitely want pics though.

I haven't even decided if I'm going to do it or not. Probably will though.....just wondering if anybody had before. I never remember seeing one around here but I could have missed it. I usually like my BKs rampless (at least I love my 9 without the ramp). My 7 and 10 still have it but as soon as I get to a bench grinder they are going to be no more...
 
Remember that the whole gimmick behind the 12 is the "custom balance" with the 3 weight balances in the handle. With the amount of steel being removed via the loss of the ramp, it would be difficult for those tiny little weights to compensate. Then again, if those 3 little weights or the weight of the ramp is going to throw you off, the easy solution is to simply just wash the sand out.
