Get yourself an Al Mar Tac-jacket, Don. Pockets galore. You can lose knives in the Tac-jacket, and by the time you find them again they're worth more than when you lost them.

Which ones of those goregous Commanders are responsible for putting your Spyderco out of its misery? Whichever ones they are, they appear to have come through unscathed.
BTW how do the lefty and righty Commanders get along, or is it the serrated and plain edged ones that tend to be jealous of eachother?

I cannot tell precisely which one did it, for the picture is a lineup of... "The Usual Suspects..."

Ahhh...you will like it. The opening is slick. The Commander and 7 that are Waved are very slick, the SOCFK takes some getting used to after having the Commander for years. I think it is the way the body flares up near the Wave...it still activates reliably, it just feels different...very cool however.

As for the "different" feel between the Commander and the SOCFK - I've felt it too. I'm with ya in thinking it's the blade shape. The Commander has a silkier pull to it - you drag, and the blade opens. With the SOCFK, it's definitely more of a "learned" movement - a concious action. But I still love it.

Other then uniform shorts (living in Florida and all), just about all I wear are 5.11s and Bluewater shorts. I have Khaki, Black, Blue, Indigo, Pewter and Olive.
